http://www.freewebs.com/rutherglengl...september-2012 Rutherglen Glencairn Football Club tonight held a further Extraordinary General Meeting, attended by Clyde FC Chairman John Alexander and Secretary John Taylor. At the meeting, Glencairn's members approved the Committee's recommendations to support, in principle, Clyde FC's proposal to develop The Clyde Gateway Stadium into an SFL compliant stadium in a joint venture between the two clubs. Glencairnâs members agreed in principle to move the proposal forward to look at the development in the future, and gave the Committee the mandate to work with Clyde FC and South Lanarkshire Council to develop a legal framework for an agreement between the clubs, subject to the further approval of the Glencairn members.
