Collo's booking today was his 4th this season - he is now one more away from a ban. Losing him would be absolutely disasterous, especially without Stevie T, so he's gonna be walking a tightrope against Bolton. Does anyone know when the cut off point is for 5 yellows being a ban is? Hopefully pretty soon.

Pretty sure that the cut-off point is the New Year, so he has two more games to get through. Although, if he plays as he did last night, we may be better off without him ;)

Well if he gets it v Bolton then he misses Liverpool away. If he gets it v Liverpool he misses Man U at home. Typical that Man U are starting to hit their stride when we play them in a couple of weeks. They always come good in New Year and rake up win after win. Man City still have a lot of work to do if they're to win the league. Man U destroyed Fulham, who themselves are a very good side.

He seemed as if he was playing through a pain barrier last night. It wasn't the typical Colo.

Agree with this, was definitely labouring from early on. Still think a half fit Colo is better than Perch/Simmo combo at CB though.

Don't think anybody would argue with that.

The problem with that is a half fit Colo could end up a totally crocked Colo and Simo/Perch would end up a long term solution. That gives me nightmares! Hence my "we need defenders" thread earlier. Our options at the the back are pathetic!!

The window's just over a week away, I think we'll sign a CB very early on, yeah whoever it is will need time to settle but hopefully Williamson will be up to playing a full 90 minutes in the next game or two. Our luck just seems to have run out at the moment, start of the season we were "lucky" with various ref decisions etc now it seems to have run out, with injuries, lucky goals against us and we've hit the woodwork 4-5 times in the 3 or 4 games.
