Don't forget the poor old trees as well. I'm currently reading The Hidden Life of Trees, possibly the most amazing book I've ever read. I recommend it to anyone interested in wildlife.
Thank you, it has and still is absolutely devastating. There are parts of the country, with the way the geography is, where fires can be relatively close in KM's, but you feel safe (ignorant), and there are locations where it is ripping through small suburbs and tearing homes down. I hate thinking about the animals, some of our native types like Koalas and Wombats aren't exactly mobile and do not have any alternative refuge to go to in such short time frames. The Koala's, i feel horrible when i think of the amount of them that have been taken.
is it true a group of retired fire officers warned your PM months ago about the possibility of these fires and he ignored them! If so he needs shooting , absolutely criminal
That has been said, but it gets mixed up or washed away with all the other headlines and he said she said comments, throw away lines... long ago was the time i had faith in a PM.
Things ain't getting any easier are they Oz... can't understand why UK isn't sending out people/equipment to help?
https://www.castrust.org/2020/01/cast-meets-the-man-in-the-chair/ Apparantly you cannot buy a property in 3 months, wtf is this geezer trying to kid? I smell bull**** on a widespread level.
Yes it does smell a bit - a poor kid bought up by a single Mum yet his Dad put him through uni - make your fooking mind up mate
You don't need your parents to out you through uni, you take out a student loan. We paid the rent for our two, that's all, and some parents don't pay that, the kids have to either live at home or take a part-time job.
