    Kante is a small, some may say slight player, but incredible at what he does. Timing and intelligence. Not saying Diallo will be be quite up there, but don’t necessarily need to be a muscle man!

    I agree SH, his willingness to face forward, his pace and assurance on the ball are big pluses, as l wrote; a player to be nutured. His physicality could be an issue, but look at Kante, proves there is no substitute for positioning and timing good challenges. Looking forward to seeing him play.

    It appears from the videos that he is an upgrade on Oriol certainly in possession of the ball. He looks to have good vision and plays the ball early which Danny, Che, Redders and Shane will thrive on.

    His Saints nickname should be “The Operator”.

    Here’s why:
    In the days of old-fashioned phones with dials, the words “Dial 0 for the Operator“ would be printed in the middle of the dial.
