    He’s hinted at Doig before, highly-rated 19 year old left-back from Hibs. I’d be pretty happy to see him come in too, but might be a bit too hopeful to sign a second promising fullback as permanent cover.

    Well that’s RB sorted, been a problem position for a while and now we have an amazing first choice and deputy.

    Well I’m saints. I wonder if Ralph may try and push either of them into a midfield role, they’re both very attacking minded for full backs.

    Welcome Tino, what a prospect, 3 goals and 10 assists for academy last year.

    What with departures and arrivals, I am enjoying this transfer window so far.

    "Predominantly used on the right, Livramento is also capable of playing on the opposite side of defence."

    I wonder if that means he will be our only full-back back up

    This is a big opportunity, but one we have to follow through on. It has become common for players to jump academies looking for the best opportunities, and after Sancho it has increasingly become common for young players to run down their contracts to have greater leverage in determining their future, rather than spend years on the loan circuit. There is an enormous benefit to establishing ourselves as a club that provides a pathway for those kids to becoming PL regulars, but now we have to actually do it.

    And that means that we're going to have to give Livramento real opportunities, even if that means starting him over KWP at times, and potentially taking a few lumps along the way. A lot of agents, and a lot of young players, will take note of how he gets on here.
