Funnily enough I noticed a resemblance between them too when I first saw Tino. But those photos confirm it. Uncanny.

“Semmens went to Croyden to buy a Fiat Cinquecento.
“Instead he bought a right back, his name is Livramento…”

    I will get my coat.

    Same tune...

"Last year we were so sh*t,
    We loaned in Minamino
This year we'll be Champions League,
We're on the march with Tino!"

Surely it’s the good old Seven Nation Army tune by the White Stripes with ‘Oh Liv-r-a-men-to…’

I'd imagine that Livramento will play all the cup games? Unless of course he's unreal and it turns out after a few months that he's better than one of KWP/Perraud.

I can see him coming off the bench in games we're winning and playing on the wing rather than RB.

You're right we need to give these players game time, but as he is our only backup, I don't think it will be difficult to do that. Our poor form last season tended to be when we didn't have KWP fit, so he'll need plenty of rests.

OR: "do do do do, Livramento" to the tune of "do do do do Nathan Redmond." <laugh>

While we're on chants, surprised Adams hasn't got one yet. But then when writing this I remembered there haven't been fans in the ground for the past season and a half and that might be why.

You could just about scan his name into Living On The Edge by Aerosmith. But we won't.

"Cup games and wait your chance" probably isn't to our long-term benefit. The clubs that have become magnets for top young talent are the ones that were willing to give them significant game action, not a few minutes off the bench and away days at Morecambe. If we want kids to trust us, we're going to have to trust the kids.

There are plenty of better teams than us that find a way to get teenagers on the pitch for real minutes, and we used to as well. And actual squad rotation in the first half of the season might prevent the "half our team is dead what now" moments that seem to hit us in the second half with some regularity.

Which is why I said it won't be hard to give plenty of game time as KWP will need resting.

So things I’ve noticed in this. He’s fast. He loves crossing from the line and he pushes very, very high. Ralph always talks about being brave. This kid is most definitely that. We were talking before about wide support where Bertrand’s ageing had seen him less able or willing to challenge his opposite number by getting into the final third and running behind. This signing meets the brief of what we need for that position. Cracking get from Saints here.

Left back, right back, he's a Saint!

Nice easy tune to follow, and who doesn't love a bit of the old Hokey Cokey?!?
