Heard nothing this year , but last (I can’t remember exactly what , something on tv) there was something that sounded like the idea of thanksgiving was being pushed. As you say it will come , Britain is so easily influenced to American ways

    So it looks like
    GREEN and RED.
    For overseas holidays
So now what does that mean then half way through your holiday it goes RED
the idiots should of left it with an amber you would of had a little chance of not been caught
It’s now over 2k per person if you come back from a RED country and have to isolate in a hotel
It can change from GREEN toRED at anytime
They have made things a lot more unsure for people to have a holiday now

The new rules are actually made to sound better
However GREEN can go to RED at anytime
Ok it’s possible that might not happen
    However we must be aware

How cool that it's coming back to normal, even watching football with no viewers on the stadium don't feel right. When there were some matches and after someone was scoring a goal, hearing nothing except the commentator's ''GOOOOAALLL'' just was boring in my opinion, no energy at all. I only was watching because I did bet on the matches. I like betting, I like everything related to excitement, casino and betting. I created my casino application using sport betting software and now I can do it at my casino!! And also I get good money from the application

    54k cases today. 140 deaths.
Who's going out for a Christmas party, unless it's at No. 10, they could be in doubt?

Deaths have been plateauing despite rising cases. It's clear the vaccine works for the vast majority of people - my dad catching it and brushing it off when there's more wrong with him than there is right all but proves it as far as I'm concerned. It seems unlikely we'll be cancelling Christmas given what we're now learning about Omicron.

Absolutely sick of this **** now like. Every time I leave the house it’s always in the back of my head that I might catch it. Me and the mrs have been lucky so far, we’re almost two years in and we’ve both managed to avoid it.

Me too, (the lucky bit) but since both Son a Daughter, Son's partner and their two daughters, have all had it of late, it's at least possible that bothe my wife and I have had it without noticing it. Prior to their going down with it, there was lots of contact.

That or the vaccine has worked as they claim it should.

I've come to the conclusion that, for ME, there is no point in worrying.
When in the RAF and due an overseas tour, they injected me with all sorts of stuff.
I remember yellow fever and malaria, but there were others too.
The 'dark humour' of the day was, 'the only thing that can kill you now lad, is bullets'.

Same applies now, though a Double Decker Bus could do it as well.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

It's ironic that one of the biggest groups of committed 'anti-vaxxers' are 'party people', clubbers, students and other people of that age ...

... who are also one of the biggest groups of recreational drug users.

It's laughable that they're happier to swallow pills from some random stranger than have an injection approved by the World Health Organisation. Sadly the scientists had to be honest and announce that this age group were one of the least likely to die from Covid. Imagine if, like AIDS, Covid was aggressively targeting that age group and no one had bothered to produce a vaccine ...

... the same people would be marching through the streets in protest and fighting with the police.

If everyone had the vaccine, they and the rest of us, would all be safer but it's become an act of 'brave defiance' to refuse.

And so it goes on ....

The vast majority of people are fine assuming they are jabbed. My son and I had it in July and other than feeling a bit **** for a few days we were both fine. He has asthma and at that point was unvaccinated (13 years old) so the risk was all with him but he was fine

you can't live your life in fear because you could get hit by a bus or drop down with a heart attack at any minute

In my own experience, the vaccine works EXACTLY as they say. My son caught it last day of school. In the following week he spent time indoors and in cars with me, the wife, our daughter and both sets of Grandparents. All adults were fully vaccinated. I was the only one to catch it (everyone else tested negative on PCR)

    Those odds are pretty decent

Just wondering as that would mean the whole country would of had it within about 50/60 days and we’ve been going for nearly 18 months.<ok>

An Italian man who wanted a Covid vaccination certificate without getting the jab turned up for his vaccine with a fake arm, officials say.

The man, in his 50s, arrived for his shot with a silicone mould covering his real arm, hoping it would go unnoticed.

But a nurse was not fooled and the man has now been reported to the police.

The nurse told local media that when she had rolled up his sleeve, she found the skin "rubbery and cold" and the pigment "too light".

After being discovered, the man tried to persuade the nurse to turn a blind eye, la Repubblica reported. But instead she reported him to the police for fraud.
