COVID19 is on the rise again folks.

My sister and her family all have it.
Two people from work are off with it as well - that's 10% of our workforce.

They're reporting over 1 in 40 people in London are infected.
    Stay safe everyone.

How do you feel ? A lot of people saying they feel rough afterwards? I’m in two minds whether to have it or not

Haven't had my latest booster yet. After my second dose of the original vaccine I felt a bit off-colour for just a day.
But on the other occasions no reaction at all.
Had my first ever Flu jab last week. Again no reaction at all.
I know we all react differently but I would say go for it @Smudger603

Felt fine. Felt rough the day after the flu jab, could be coincidence, I'd had 2 late nights.

:emoticon-0172-mooni take that you silly man.

I have had the flu jab and will have the booster once I get back from Sweden.

I have been offered as I am probably classed as vulnerable after my bypass.

Now we know why the Chinese Government was obsessed with a draconian 'Zero Covid' policy.

Having abandoned it, the disease is now sweeping across that vast country infecting millions.
So what? Some folks might say.
Yet even if Corona kills only a handful of people in its current milder form, it could paralyse the Chinese Economy and their export mechanisms.

And that will be very bad news for the rest of the World - including the UK - because we are now massively dependent on goods from China.
I work for a small manufacturing firm. Costs have forced us to source many vital components from PRC. More shipping disruption in that part of the World is going to be a nightmare.

Many countries around the World have placed tough COVID tests on anybody travelling from China.
There is a huge Coronavirus surge there.

    The UK Government?
Has no plans to impose any additional checks.
And this, with the NHS already beyond breaking point.
Tourist money before lives. What a surprise.

    <laugh> Tough luck Novax

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/64161301

People who won't get vaccinated because they just don't want such medicines in their bodies are plain selfish.
Neither will they accept that if they won't take the vaccine they should at least isolate themselves as much as possible.
Novax cares about only one person - himself.
Well done the US Authorities <applause>

I've tested positive for COVID. Caught it from somebody at work last week I think.
Feeling pretty rough. Having to isolate as well now of course.
I'll do my best to keep things up to date over the next week or two... :emoticon-0119-puke:

    Second time I think.
I may have had it last summer, I was ill for a few days and lost some taste sensation. But I never took a test.
This time it's worse - like a bad head cold but lasting longer than a couple of days. Just beginning to feel a bit better, but not expecting to test negative for a few days yet. Not had to isolate before.
