If Starmer had won the last election he would have been forced to do everything exactly the same as Boris but his pals would have been handed lucrative kick backs .

More Government will not restore 2019 levels of freedom again it's become increasingly clear that our Government have zero say in the direction the country is headed and they are just puppets .

Yes and no, really. I'm still willing to give Starmer a chance. Though I'm not claiming he'd have handled Covid any better.

But some issues are bigger than party politics. I personally applaud all the 76 MPs who voted against extending the Emergency Powers Act to September. 35 Tories, 21 Labour, 10 Liberals, 10 assorted weirdos.

Shame there aren't more Liberal MPs in Parliament really, we need a third party in Westminster (other than the SNP, who want to leave anyway). That's what Nick Clegg got for buddying up to the Tories - he got ****ed over, because that's what Tories do.

Take it off, I’ve literally been pulled up about 4 or 5 times in a year and all you say is “I’m exempt” and walk away from them.

Yeah, I work on public transport though, remember? So I’m sort of compelled to wear a mask, on my chin at least.

I’ve never been refused service in a shop without one tbh.

 

That’s how I didn’t conform from the outset as it would have cause me grief if I had become exempt at a later date.

Luckily I don’t need to wear one at work as Rudi and Petr are deaf and I need to mouth stuff to them in Albanian.

Just tell your work that it’s causing you severe distress to wear one. If they get heavy handed then get the Union in.
