Apparently there is likely to be a global shortage of condoms due to Covid-19 halting production. Maybe we are not as ****ed as we think.
So if Boris can't continue then Raab takes charge Who's after him? And after that? And after that? More importantly, how many until it falls to me? Should I start preparing yet or not?
Because of the lag time, the next 2-3 weeks will still feature pretty alarming growth both in the number of cases and the number of deaths. Hopefully, it should start to level off after that; number of new cases might continue upward longer than Italy did, as the government hasn't put in place as strict of a lockdown, but things will get better...it'll just take some time.
Last night’s Question Time which that clip is from is well worth a watch. As I mentioned last week, not having a studio audience jeering anyone who dares to criticise the government improves the programme enormously: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000gpnd/question-time-2020-26032020
How about this for mixed assumptions? I've just popped out to a chemist to pick up a prescription for my brother, and am currently standing in a 30 yard long queue outside the place. Good job it's sunny. It's on a corner, so I saw two people outside. As I rounded the corner I saw all the people in a line (with 6 feet between them). As I walked past the line a woman said to me, "I suppose you thought you'd jump the queue." I said, "not at all, I'm just surpised". But she didn't know that I was thinking of her, "brexiteer." The difference was, I kept it to myself, and knew that assumptions are the mother of all ****-ups. She revealed her attitude. Still in the queue.
Dear oh dear, Michael Gove almost makes me miss Boris. Getting a straight answer out of him is like trying to pick up a sloppy turd with a cocktail stick.
**** me Brexiteers. I had nearly forgotten about their nasty views and obnoxious ways. Child: "What did you do in the Corona Virus crisis Daddy?" Remain Supporting Father: "I volunteered as an NHS helper and looked after my elderly neighbours to make sure they had all they needed. I ran errands for my friends who were self isolating and couldn't leave their homes." Child: "Daddy I am proud of you." Child: "What did you do in the Corona Virus crisis Daddy?" Brexit Supporting Father: "I went to the supermarket everyday and stockpiled everything I could lay my hands on so those ****ing immigrants couldn't get our food. The bastards had our jobs and our houses. They weren't going to get our food if I could help it." Child: "Daddy I am proud of you."
Are you kidding me? So, it can only be the remain voters who are pulling their socks up and supporting the efforts to get over this. What a ****ing self righteous fool you are. And of course, none of the remain voters stockpiled anything did they? Maybe keep the bollocks that often come out of your arse to the politics thread. And in any case, I’d have thought most of the children in the leave camp are less likely to know who their Daddy’s are, given such of their likely social demographics
