Many of us view our insightful comments here as constructive criticism usually of the incumbent government and it's leaders. The orange man across the pond of course gets a dishonourable mention. Then institutions, royalty, religious and/or commercial plus individuals will get the attention they deserve. Cheerio Gazza hope you find a forum of like minded people to share and agree with. Stay safe.
Managed to get pretty much all I needed from the Marlands Asda, this morning. Free Marlands parking, with a snag. The corridor through Asda is closed, (for 6 weeks I read), so entry to Asda was only from Portland Terrace, where a short queue was being monitored by security and being admitted a few at a time. A man behind me in the queue had a seriously bad cough, and I overheard staff talking about a colleague who had been coughing his guts up, but had been allowed to remain at work, which is a bit concerning.
I would have sat in the car for an hour rather than stand next to patient zero. If you're ill, stay at home. Grim.
Does anyone know if someone with MS is classed as in the at risk category? Friend of mines Dad has it and he works for Asda. I saw the article posted on here but he is being told he has to continue working, I would’ve assumed something like that is at risk but don’t know for sure
I'm not usually that profane preferring to use phrases such as "prairie hat doing cunning stunts" and similar. Can't be arsed to go back and check, couldn't really give a flyer.
When you have: PPE that isn't up to scratch Nurses doing 11hr days or more Take way too long to lockdown Barely any being tested It all needs looking into after coronavirus has been controlled. I just hope we are able to save as many as possible
He should have received a text from the NHS warning him that he is at risk and should self isolate for 12 weeks. If he hasn’t received one it could be because he isn’t considered to be at risk, or if he has been missed off of the list, in error. If he thinks it’s the latter, he should contact his GP surgery for a definitive answer.
Although I am currently taking time out to protect my wife, our doctor sent me the following text to present to my manager, when I go back. Note the clear reference to the risk assessment of employees that should have taken place. He needs to ask if one has been done and if he can see it. With all the will in the world you can’t maintain a two metre space in a supermarket. Dear Mr. Badger Thank you for your enquiry today. I can confirm that your wife Sue is in the highest risk category for complications of Covid19, which mean you must be ultra-vigilant about reducing your own risk of bringing the virus into your home. Your employer should have done a risk assessmnet of all emplyees and you should be prioritised for the safest possible working conditions - having as little contact with others as possible, always observing the 2m rule and having easy access to hand washing and sanitiser gels. Kind Regards Dr ..... Surgery
