That's why I mentioned the clear breaking of the rules on that day which was stupid and irresponsible. Like I said I can not understand why the media did not go at him on that point cos there is no denying he broke that very clear rule.

So when Cummings said he wrote about the threat of pandemics last year it was a lie.

He edited his blog to make it look that way but wayback has the history and shows its its only just been added .

He did try and cover that off, as he said she was just ill and didn’t have COVID symptoms, so he went back. Only the next thing he’s legging it to Durham thinking they’re both going to get it, so he sticks all 3 of them in a tin can for 5 hours, just to make sure. His story was absolute bollocks.

The problem is the media and number 10 have allowed him to play them. He is not elected, he represents no one, the only thing that should have been happening is him getting fired. But the media played the game, by giving him camera time, that's the fault of the media not Cummings. The media want to be judge and jury, and by acting the way they do, have even allowed Cummings to break protocol.

Beth Rigby said it all today, when she said you are the most powerful man in the cocuntry. ONLY because the media play to his pied piper routine, they have allowed him to be.

What should have happened is the media should have said no to showtime, and then applied the pressure on to Boris and other Tory MP's. Cummings was nothing more than a diversion for the bullet, that's why Boris played the shhite show that he did at todays briefing.

D-day Wednesday ... Bojo has to face senior cross-party politicians fresh from handling complaints from irate constituents... I suspect he'll be told that not many bought Cummings bullshit and he's looking a bit of a tit ... will be interesting to see whether he will then throw Cummings under the bus or try to bluff it out ... either way he must realise that the Torys are going to have lost a lot of voters from this... and not just the floating middlers ... some staunch lifers are also feeling mugged off.

 

Maybe he will have a mysterious unfortunate accident that prevents him from giving away too many secrets
Easier than trying to sack him

 

He will be well aware that the average voter will have forgotten all about this in a month let alone by the next election mate.
