I dont think our loan selections have been good for years barring Harry Wilson... that said, Tomori eg has gone on and made a name for himself after not being a stand out here..
Been speaking to couple of people I know at palace, the feedback has been "fantastically talented, poor attitude and very lazy"
From what we've seen so far, that would seem to fit. Rosenior probably thinking he's the man to get the best out of him. Will be interesting to see how the next week's go with him but seems to me to be poor judgement from Rosenior. We want talented players but absolutely not if they come with bad attitude and laziness. TWT whether he's made a good call or whether it's niavity thats wasted a loan spot, time and money. For now I'm going for tha latter as he's been dreadful so far.
Rosie and the player where both very keen to get it done so hopefully they can be the right combination for each other. I didn't see the game yesterday as was working at another one, but from what I'm hearing there was a few occasions our players showed some frustrations with him due to not tracking back, putting effort in etc
Trying to remember what I and my Uni friends were like at 19 we definitely had attitude problems and enjoyed being lazy ****s. He is 19 for **** sake to be as fit as a fiddle and to look after his body the way he does tells me he has self discipline which 90% of the population doesn’t have. Rosie will get the best out of him it may take a season long loan next season to see his full potential.
The problem is with 'waiting' for him to adjust is that you have 20 odds other squad players busting a gut for the cause. Some cant get a game because he's on the pitch, Longman to name but one... I think LR has made a rick' and he just hopes that one day he might produce something sublime. You want people who buy into his philosophy and the ethics of the other professionals, that why he was getting pelters yesterday. Strikes me he's a bit of a sulker and being shouted at likely wont help him at this stage of his career.
Well let's hope he doesn't twist his ankle in a hole at Cottingham like another fantastically talented but poor attitude and lazy player we recently had....
Obviously there’s a player in there Look how long it’s taken akpom to do it and that’s only in the championship
I always remember being pretty unimpressed with a certain Mark Noble a few years ago but he went on to have a solid career in the Premier League.
