To save on countless one line responses maybe you could explain why you will not get the vaccine?

Firstly condolences for your mam mate. Really sorry to hear that.
My mam died ten years ago and my dad got Corona and pneumonia last year as well as having emphysema COPD and TB.
I thought he was a gonner tbh.
Unfortunately he did pass away recently and I'm not coping with it too good.
I can understand why you feel strongly about it.

    As for 150,000,
Well not quite since there's been no flu deaths or cases for over 12 months and they've been registering covid death's for people who died of other things but tested positive within 28 days or so.
    Why is that ?
I'm not a covid denier nor think the earth is flat etc but the figures are twisted.
I have turned the vaccine down twice as it's as yet untested properly.
I wear a mask and keep distances, stay in if i feel ill etc yet I'm sick of fookers telling me I have to have it.
I don't, and if that means not going out to pubs etc then fine, it will save me getting some rightous prick round the throat.
Them ones posting on Facefook or twátter etc slagging others for likes or popularity whatever then blatantly flouting the rules themselves,
The last time I had a Corona test they were stood round together, touching each other and wearing keep your distance vests :D
    fookin hypocrites.
I feel sorry for all those that have stuck to rules, stayed in, missed loved ones, funerals etc and for what ?
For the Indian variant to spread like you say, ? And the Chinese still coming in and out via flights last year.
Fùcking farce and a mockery of it.

It's a choice and everyone's right to accept or refuse and nobodies business why.

I wrote this out earlier but it disappeared before posting as i got distracted with stuff I'm sorting so i lost some points.
As I say the government are full of shìt and you confirmed.
The so called experts aren't too hot either.
Last year when me and the mrs had covid, i was taking ibuprofen for headaches although the experts warned against ibuprofen. Fast forward a few weeks and they did a complete U turn ffs

I never ate margarine or artificial sweeteners as they used to suggest and thank god as they turned out to be as cancerous as fook ;)

Mind you a lot of us bought diesels :D

I'll probably have the vaccine at some point, I thought about it the other day but as my doctor does the Astra zenica i definitely turned that fooker down :D

I'm quite outspoken and say it as it is when out.
But with age I've learned to mellow more, that miserable cùnt for instance. Why are they miserable ?
You never know whats going on in the background.
I watched that Ricky Gervais series "after life" on Netflix last night which pretty much sums up "you never know what people are going through".

If was a year today, Mum died, I went to one of her favourite spots, Little Haven... took a picture of the (used to be red) orange lighthouse, where she liked to stand and posted it on Facebook...

Yes this time round the virus has hit the elderly hardest... Next time round it might be younger men who like a pint who are more susceptible. What would they think if all the wrinklies refused to get vaccines, but could still pass it on to them

I hope you all don't mind me chipping in here lads as it affects all of us
I personally can't understand why someone that's decided to have the jab...
can't accept someone else's decision to not get the jab.
If the jab works, what's the problem? YA bullet proof!

For me it's questing of whether we still have the right to say no...
History has shown us in the past that when this right is taken away bad things can happen.

    The Nuremberg Code (1947)

    Permissible Medical Experiments

The great weight of the evidence before us to effect that certain types of medical experiments on human beings, when kept within reasonably well-defined bounds, conform to the ethics of the medical profession generally.
The protagonists of the practice of human experimentation justify their views on the basis that such experiments yield results for the good of society that are unprocurable by other methods or means of study. All agree, however, that certain basic principles must be observed in order to satisfy moral, ethical and legal concepts:

    1. The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision. This latter element requires that before the acceptance of an affirmative decision by the experimental subject there should be made known to him the nature, duration, and purpose of the experiment, the method and means by which it is to be conducted, all inconveniences and hazards reasonably to be expected, and the effects upon his health or person which may possibly come from his participation in the experiment.

Cummings sticking it to Hancock... saying he lied, lots...

Also one throw away line, Trump had the CIA going around buying up PPE worldwide.

Basically everyone in govt had group think reckoning herd immunity was the way to go and Bonko did not think Covid 19 was dangerous.
