You’d best check entry requirements for kids regardless of how random they are.
I seem to recall if you’re not vaccinated Spain need to prove a negative test but I’m not sure if that’s needed for kids and if it is how long it takes to get tests delivered or the results (I’d assume results would be straight away like the free ones?)

But yes best to take kids you don’t mind leaving if necessary

I can imagine it's not easy to find a private test place in say Bulgaria or Slovakia to do the test 3 days before you want to set off home.

The government list is ****, stupid and close to worthless.

Govt's plan B, for a winter upsurge. It isn't over, it's just been lying low. Trouble is a lot of people do think it's over.

We do indeed but living with it might mean facemasks and social distancing. This is where disagreements arise!

Germany no longer offer free tests as it tries to push more of its citizens to get vaccinated.

A sky article is not science……a cotton mask does not stop you catching the virus, it stops you spreading the virus.

But when the population has 85% vaccination level masks are utter bullshit. It’s the equivalent of going under the kitchen table when a nuclear bomb drops. It’s basic PR to reassure the public but has **** all pratical purpose

I'm sure if I could be arsed I could find a peer reviewed paper on Athens tomorrow to reinforce or reject a particular view, as I'm sure you could...

Maybe at best marginal gains, however (not science - well maybe) that'll do me

zero gains in a population that’s double vacc’d……unless the gov are admitting that the vaccination is not as effective as originally stated.

The mask wearing defies logic but if it helps you…..please continue…..but it’s like wearing your favourite underpants because you think it will increase the chances of a city win!!

Uterly disgusting there wasn't even a vote on something that gives a Government unprecedented powers, one day we might actaully see an opposition party in parliament again but it won't be for some years.

There'll be no lockdown this time around, to many people feel safe now after the jabs and won't go along with it, they will how ever be a continued push to bring in the discriminatery vaccine passports.

It's worth bearing in mind that there is a new variant around which is partly responsible for fuelling this new talk of plan B etc. Govt doesn't know yet how effective the current vaccines are against this new variant, indeed any other variant that comes along. Also bear in mind that the efficiency of vaccines will decline over time, hence boosters, so people are always vulnerable to some extent or other. It's an evolving situation and will remain so for years. Anything that can be done to reduce transmission rates will help. Being double vacc'd isn't the gold standard, there will likely never be one.
