Sorry, trying my best to keep politics out of this but I can't suppress my rage at this latest development.
Pay nurses less than £25k a year and watch them die /infect other patients for the sake of a mask and goggles?
****ing unbelievable murdering Tory bastards.

A suspected Covid-19 male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose.A young student female nurse appears and gives him a partial sponge bath "Nurse,"' he mumbles from behind the mask, "are my testicles black?
Embarrassed, the young nurse replies “I don't know, Sir. I'm only here to wash your upper body and feet. He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, please check for me. Are my testicles black? Concerned that he might elevate his blood pressure & heart rate worrying about his testicles
Nurse overcomes her embarrassment and pulls back the covers. She raises his gown, holds his manhood in one hand and his testicles gently in the other. She looks very closely and says, "There's nothing wrong with them, Sir. They look fine."
The man slowly pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her, and says very slowly, "Thank you very much.
    That was wonderful.
Now listen very, very, closely: "Are - my - test - results - back?"

Premier League clubs are living in a "moral vacuum" and players should be first to sacrifice salaries during the coronavirus pandemic, say politicians.
Julian Knight, the chair of the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport committee, has condemned the actions of some Premier League clubs, who have furloughed non-playing staff.
Tottenham , Newcastle , Bournemouth and Norwich have opted to utilise the government's job retention scheme.

"It sticks in the throat," said Knight.

"This exposes the crazy economics in English football and the moral vacuum at its centre."

Surely he never really expected anything different from these overpaid, selfish morons.

    Just seen this
A percentage of the salaries of Norwich City's playing squad, head coach and executive committee is to be spent on helping people within the community.
The club announced that more than £200,000 will be used to buy and distribute food and essential toiletry packages.
Club captain Grant Hanley said: "The lads have heard at first-hand stories and challenges that some of our supporters are currently facing.
"We need to make sure we're reaching out and helping those who have been hit hard and are struggling at this time."

The packages will be assembled at Carrow Road, with the help of volunteers.
The club's owners and directors have also contributed to the cause, the club said.

So perhaps some are doing something

Just to show you that the UK doesn't have a monopoly arrogance or stupidity, some hospitals in the US are making doctors remove ppe that they bought themselves.

So as many of you have already heard, Club Brugge have been declared Champions with the Belgian league cancelled with immediate effect. Great, a bit of clarity from the governing body. But, what is going to happen to the clubs fighting relegation? The bottom three are cut adrift, but only two get relegated in that league. And guess what, its not simple, Cercle Brugge & Oostende are seperated by one point with one game to play. No new information seems to be coming to light about this. For me, this issue is more important than the title, so I find it a little frustrating that they have declared, without resolution.
