Ive done 3 tests - 2 of which to be safe as opposed to sorry - 1 of which was a genuine possibility.

If i was back in the office then Id use the lateral flow testing there. But working from home, going to the shops off peak and only really going cycling and fishing other times dont really see the need.

Yeah, i see the kids. They are flow tested, the rest of the fam have had 2 jabs. I dont see the point of speculative flow testing in my situation. Im a miserable bugger anyway who avoids crowds.

I suspect that as we open up and theres stuff i wanna do which requires a neg flow test then I'll take one more regularly. Have no quarms about doing so but at the moment i have no reason as such.

No chance. Unless it's demanded for work.

The tests give false readings, they tell us that and, the more positives means more chance of lockdown extending. If you're fully vaccinated, there's no point in taking any tests. Just isolate yourself for a week.

This the longer people carry on being tested the longer this all goes on for....the tests aren't fit for purpose the USA health authority have said they should all be binned but of course Hancock bought a absolute **** load of them from some bloke from Wuhan no less so they have to find a way to use them to justify the expense of wasting £3 Milloin pounds.
If you feel ill stay at home or at a push get a pcr test if proof needed for work but even thoose are badly flawed as there being run at a higher cycle rate than is recommended and will pick up past infections so not necessarily proof of present infection.

And @GLP has posted a salutary tale about that on his own thread. :emoticon-0101-sadsm:emoticon-0145-shake
