More mass gatherings against police and organisers advice.... plenty of Covid spread here for sure... All these civil liberties clowns beelin that their right to protest has been taken away... what about those who may be infected by this mob? Do they have rights. the cause is just... the timing and mode is pathetic.
I peddled right through Blyth, Whitley Bay and Tynemouth last weekend. All rammed like a summers day. Tynemouth you couldn’t get moved, police weren’t bothered, we saw two wandering in amongst the crowds with an ice cream. Strangely the rule breaking has continued throughout (more than ever in recent months), more testing being done, and yet the numbers are plummeting out of all recognition. It’s pretty clear there isn’t much correlation between number rises and this supposedly heinous rule breaking. Ah that must be the vaccine taking effect
Doesn’t look much like a ‘vigil’ to me.... more like a bunch of scruffs high jacking the poor lass’s death...
Whoever put this **** towards the front of the queue needs a dry slap. scum like this are vermin and need to be at the back of the queue at best.
Speaking of ****s.. this is a police car at the supposedly peaceful ‘Vigel’ last night. a definition of ACAB is ‘Alp Cops Are Bastards’
Ironical given the police are the ones providing protection to the public. Maybe, if the do-gooders weren't doing their best to keep convicted sex offenders/paedos out of prison the streets would be that bit safer. They'll be looking for a scapegoat, Cressida Dick will fit the bill nicely for all sides, and the same people will whine on about the lack of women in high positions at the Met.
I don't get why this country is so soft... We used to be perfectly brutal when dealing with criminals.. I mean I understand scaphism was a tad harsh for stealing bread, but it just ****ing isn't for child killers.
So true, its like a self perpetuating whinging fest. "What can I crusade about today" Then you have the likes of the BBC always there to drum up interest in the subject, keeping the pitch forks pointy. I'm sure if I click on the BBC home page, I'm sure they will be at least one section on the main news thread and probably the sport one too, which will be all about womens safety on the streets. Just like it was BLM the flavour a few weeks ago. I wish they would all **** off with their liberal bollocks and causes.
I think the majority of people are still following the rules in the main, though not necessarily to the letter. From what I have seen they are followed far less in this area than in other parts of the country though - at least in terms of mask wearing in shops and garages etc. There is nowhere near the normal level of mixing between people though, so that should bring the numbers down. Looks like the outdoor mixing doesn't have a big effect on Covid numbers, so you might have been right about that one all along. There were no recorded spikes in cases after all of those times beaches were crowded in the summer, or any of the mass outdoor gatherings that took place. There have been lots of cases of spikes after indoor gatherings though.
It attacks everywhere, but when it attacks indoors it plays Wilson, Miggy and ASM. When it attacks outdoors it plays Gayle, Fraser and Joelinton. It can still get lucky outdoors but if that's all it has got it will eventually go down.
That always happens with viruses. It's not that the vaccine doesn't work against them, just that it is less effective. Some variants will be more deadly, others will spread better and others will make the virus virtually harmless. All that will happen is that the vaccine boosters will be adjusted each season to account for the most likely bad variants to be spreading, just like they already do with the flu vaccine.
