There's plenty of back and forth and 'banter' that goes on around here and that's fine, but for some reason, dunno why, I took his post as serious.
So the wealth of Celtics shareholders mean **** all then as we'll always have folk to help us out. There's a good buoy, now you just need to tell mind the step his article is pointless.
in what other country does the oppossing manager gets punished when oposition gets 10 booked and three sent off ,the third team in said country is one game from qualifying from Europe rests their players for that game, to save them for the next game !!! but our manager is made out to be villian for speaking out about it . Which then led to him getting attacked at that game.So many countries have been found guilty of their game been corrupt but things that happen here are more questionable than any other country.
If we wern't good enough last season , why did your fans have to make our managers life impossible to live , I agree with Chris Sutton today , these incident cost Celtic the league, could Smith have done his job living in a safe house??? Season before was the most farcical season in history of Scottish football , cheated in the 3 counting old firm games , plus Rangers gaining points through refs errors in other games and Celtic losing points all to insure your club got the champions league money to stop going bust. Its not a case of not being good enough it's a case of not being ALLOWED to being good enough
So were Celtic good enough before the threats in January? Can you explain how him getting death threats would make him pick the wrong tactics?
January was the first time Neil Lennon's life was threatened - news to me. Last season, he more often than not picked the right tactics (moving Ledley and Mulgrew about etc.) As for excuses for this season, maybe the big bad we deserve better bank didn't lend us enough to buy a £7 million plus strike pairing that we couldn't pay for as an investment. Here's something, though - at no point did he realise a game was lost before kick off and sent his team out to kick the opposition of the pitch only for, as Harry rightly said, the opposition coach to get punished for it.
Of course a man that is living under the pressure of death threats is going to make mistakes doing his job .Only you sad people would make fun of what happened last season , because you've got to win at all costs , most football fans would be embarrassed at how you won last season. You Huns take it in your stride.
Never - nothing has ever happened to him - you and your fellow blunoses were the picture of dignity last season.
