    The Pakistanis took serious beatings in 1971 and 1999, 1965 was a ceasefire with India in a strong position prior to international intervention, 47 was different with territory lines being agreed.

    Both are nuclear which is worrying.

    This really needs to be sorted out with some sort of rubicon-based drinking game outside a bowling alley in Luton perhaps followed by both sides represented by one 26-year-old to drive around in a modified Vauxhall Nova to see who can rev the engine louder at a group of teenagers at a bus stop in school uniform.

    Would save a lot of blood.
