True....i used to enjoy it alot more when i was younger, now i prefer the shorter formats 50 and 20 over games. However to play it is intriguing.
Love it. It's the slow unfolding of a competition or the occassions when after 3 and a half days of one team grinding out the upper hand they suddenly and spectacularly collapse. As for why it's boring, I'm pretty sure there's billions of people on the planet think the same about football, be pretty dull if we all liked the same things. As a fan I certainly feel closer to Durham CC than to Newcastle FC and seeing local lads represent my club and country (Stokes, Wood and Jennings(ish)) is a connection that multi-million pounds signings cannot compete with.
Been to Grace Road a few times, went to Uni in Leicester just after they had won the league. Had some good players, and Darren Maddy.
