It doesn't appear there is one yet, so I thought I'd make a thread for us to discuss the match. Really PoliticalCanary needs to get over here and do a proper one on here.
At least you have the radio WloH! Not being in Norfolk, I can't get radio norfolk, and for some reason the bbc don't broadcast it over the internet when a game is on! BBC live text truly sucks!
I share your pain DH, but this season I signed up for the Canaries player, it plays the radio Norfolk commentary anywhere in the country . I'm feeling pretty confident going into the game today, it's going to be hard to break them down, they need the points badly, but I'm sure our attacking prowess will be too much for Palace in the end. Also, I think our team will want to be in that 2nd place come the end of the day - good motivation for them. Still working on a score prediction!
Ah, Canary Jack, thats probably why the BBC can't broadcast it, nobody would pay for canaries player if they did.
Yeah, that's the problem DH. It's all about da moniez in football eh! Still, I used to HATE relying on the Associated Press report on the BBC, and it makes me laugh how the BBC match reports always have at least one blatantly obvious mistake. Distinguishing S. Smith/K. Smith and R. Martin/C. Martin seems to be a step too far for the reporters each week! I had to fork out the cash.
I watch Final Score for my coverage. I would recommend it. Edit: Actually Matt Holland is the guest this time, might wanna steer clear this one!
Problem is, being a student, I don't have a TV/TV licsense so can't even watch final score. And I don't want to spend money on Canaries player - that'll buy pints!
Tuned into Canary Player, slightly nervous, Palace are our bogey team. We have strong line up though I'm going for 2-1 to Norwich
Ahhh, well it is legal for you to watch anything on iPlayer/4oD as a student as long as it's NOT live. Unfortunately, there isn't a Football League Show on tonight so I read on 606 but in-case you didn't know that I thought I'd say. All this bogey team stuff is really just superstition, and I don't think for a second Paul Lambert buys superstition!
Ah, cheers for that DM, that'll save me waiting for it to come on iplayer. Apart from live football (and gaming), theres no point having a tv at uni, everythings online an hour after it finishes, so its never a problem.
Well, I'm going to get a TV when I go to uni or else I will have a redundant Xbox! Won't buy a license though, I'm too poor. My brother is at UEA and he tells me they air any Norwich games that are on TV in the Union Bar, I guess they wouldn't do it for Norwich games at Sheffield, but there must be some places that show live football near you!
I think the Sheffield United vs Norwich game was the only coverage I've seen, and I was at the game, so it kind of defeats the point. Was quite strange being in one of the student bars before christmas and hearing two very drunk members of the cricket team standing up and bellowing out OTBC, we canaries do get about!
I take it we're all supporting Hull as well today, we could do with QPR dropping a few points. Hopefully all their new signings won't have gelled.
Never thought I'd hear Marlon King being described as a hero, but the guy on Final Score just said it...
This is why I hate BBC live text: Correction - 8:47 Effort from 25 yards by Wesley Hoolahan. John Ruddy makes a save. Oh dear.
