Well I would have thought that it is more of a central 3 in midfield with crofts being a bit more defensive than the other two, and the other two focused on attacking down either wing. On defence I'd imagine all three run back to help out and on the offensive Wes and Henri join the strikers to have almost a 5 man attack.
Good point DM, come on city, why do we always seem to leave it late? Even if we do get 3 points, Forest could still go above us, but it holds off Cardiff and Swansea a bit longer. We need 3 points, especially as the other teams will/have pick 3 up at Crystal Palace.
No can do DM according to the contract. I bet QPR nick it at the end now too. EDIT: Thank God they only drew!
An away point isnt too shabby but frustrating that we still dont seem to take our chances and missed out on the chance to close the gap on QPgay
Looking at the table, if all the teams with games in hand over us win them, we drop to 5th. Automatic promotion isn't looking as healthy as it did. Still, we're second for the moment!
Hmmmpph 0 - 0 it is. I hate playing away games. On the plus QPR aren't getting ground on us, Ruddy played well again and we're unbeaten in the league since 11th December!
I think this shows how much PL has brought to our team, when we regard a point away to one of our worst 'bogey' teams is 2 points lost. It's a shame we didn't capitalise but at least we didn't capitulate. Onwards and upwards
Disappointed with result, need Forest & Cardiff to drop points, but at least we're in the automatic promotion places
Fed up of this rubbish - the strikeforce have been dreadful all season and I include Holt in that who hasnt be very good other than a game against a woeful Ipwich. Drury and R.Martin have been the only acceptable pair. Lansbury seems a bad signing, likewise Wilbraham. Less said about bloody Ruddy the better.
Final Score said it was end to end stuff and could have been 3-3, Matt Holland blamed the pitch, saying it suited Palaces style of play, and was very bumpy
Holt needs more support, not a great performance today, C Martin is a huge disappointment this season. Still a point away is not a bad result and Palace have not been so bad at home recently.
I must say I'm very disappointed that some of you are still having a go at Ruddy! The man has been outstanding recently, he kept a clean sheet today, made some important saves to keep us in it! You can't blame him for someone scoring a good goal, even the great Lev Yashin was beaten on occasions! Rant Over
Ruddy is an absolute calamity waiting to happen. He can't catch a ball. Our midfield can play well when it suits them but our defence and goalie are far too leaky. Our strikeforce have been PATHETIC in all honesty this season. iM Very dissapointed with the scoreline today. 5 points dropped against relegation strugglers isnt good enough and I expect more effort from players earning more in a few months than I have in my whole life. Football needs a reality check
