Could you give me another positive option.? I don't think he's a tremendous acquisition and I have high hopes for him. I think he's a good option and from what I've seen, no duffer.

I'm certainly more positive about him than say... Caulker, at the moment. Is that just obvious, shocking, or too positive.? :)

Not really seen too much of him to judge .... Which says a lot as he'd get more game time if he was good enough for the first team. Perhaps he does need more time but I don't imagine he'll ever be a game changer. It could be a case that there are simply better options than him, and that he's actually quite good, just not better than we already had.

I have no idea, but Koeman obviously thinks he doesn't warrant a place in the team. Won't berate the lad though because not his fault if we brought in someone not quite good enough (unless he's a fall over drunk who won't train).

He was only a stop gap signing to be back up and with Europe in mind I'm sure (<doh>)

The fact he only signed a 2(?) year contract confirms to me he is back up while we wait for an academy player to be ready.

Not seen a great deal from him, but what I did see did not fill me with confidence. Passing was suspect as was decision making.....don't think this will be one of our success stories as he fades into the distance.

I think it was 1 year.
I posed a similar question, about him being a stop gap, a few months back and Beefy said that was the reason.
I think we are waiting for Mugabi to come good.

I got all interested in the title of this thread, and then I realised it was referring to Cuco, not Cuoco.

I think he is seen as back up; short term deal as our youth develops. He was probably purchased with the UEFA Cup in mind.

Our youth players can't be worse, surely!? Every time I have seen martina play (which is admittedly not a lot) he has looked like a complete fish out of water. Would probably rather play JWP at right back again before playing him if I'm honest!
