This is a massive problem for us. We had just started to show that we can play well and this happens. Manqy bad because we have to rely on Krafth. Schar because he's our best CB and pushes the team out from the back as looks to pass forward so he helps significantly keep the pressure up if you ask me, critical as our base stance is to retreat without him. And Wilson for the same reason really. Of course he gets us goals but he also gets us up the pitch and is about a million times more busy than any of our other strikers.

Held out with 9 men for a big win that will see us safe for me, enough heart and desire there to show me we'll be okay.

• Krafth is fine, not great but a decent back up won't be a problem. Did well when he came on as did Dummett. Also think alongside Hayden he's a bit more defensively minded and will help Hayden at CB for the next few games instead of leaving him more exposed as Manky does when he bombs forwards
• Hendricks is out - happy days, get one of the Longstaff brothers in for him (preferably both and drop Shelvey or get Hayden back in CM).
• Wilson will be a miss but as an inverted winger not as much - Fraser should come in for him, suspect it will be Joelinton
• Clark will be back, Dummy is on the way back just need Lascelles (1 week) and Fede (few weeks) back and we will be fine for CB without Schar. With the next two games being tough - just make it through those with out any more defensive injuries and we'll have plenty of cover at CB.
• Willock looks a lot better than I was hoping for tbh but still a bit rough around the edges, hopefully he gets a run of games to settle into the side.
• ASM is back - got through the game without any major knocks - absolutely key to this squad.
• Miggy Almiron - what can you say about that guy? Just getting better and better.

 

More or less agree with your points here. Hendrick shouldn’t be back in the team until we are mathematically safe.

 

So you'd play him when mathematically safe? If and when that happens I'd be playing the Longstaff brothers

 

No well. What I mean is we should not risk him again until safe. Whether he’s played then I couldn’t give a toss. He really let his team mates down yesterday and it could have been the breaking point of the season.
