You never responded to my PM, looks like all the doubters are correct. If thats the case,,,,,,, WELL,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Shows YOU for what you are.

Glad I support Sunderland, and have honour. No wonder your mob is held in disdain by decent folks, Remember the phrase " put up or shut up "

    You didnt do either.

I'd suggest there was far more likelihood of the lad putting a token amount towards charity as a few on here suggested. £3000 was never going to happen.

He shouldn't have made the bet if he couldn't follow through with the consequences.

The guy is obviously a cock.

I know you mackem lads are lenient on what can be deemed worthy of an article these days, but surely making threads personally calling someone out should not be allowed?

    This is pathetic.

No one in the right mind would pay 3k over a bet on an Internet forum.
Granted the guy should never have made the bet in the first place, or said he'd pay, but none of us on here actually know each others real names or even know what each other look like!

If the bet had been done face to face and hands were shook then fair enough. How was he suppose to pay the money? I wouldn't give my address or bank details to some random person on a forum!

If anyone really thought that this bet was going to get paid out, then I suggest they too put the prefix 'deluded' before their usernames!

Of course it's allowed. We have freedom of speech here. We're not some kind of Stalinist state like you ****ers.
Now if you want pathetic, look at your own mods.

Tash the guy bet £1000 (with 2 of us) that Newcastle would take 4 points off us this season and they failed. He then posted an article showing apparent good intentions of paying the bet. The OP has privately messaged and deluded has vanished off the earth - no real surprise so the OP has ousted someone for welchin on a bet - why is this an issue for you?

This is a sports forum, primarily to talk about sport, but I do realise there are off topic articles.

However, personal issues should be resolved in PM's, and no one should be allowed to target a specific member of a forum in a thread. It's called bullying, regardless of how you look at it.

Our mods can be strict, but it's to maintain the integrity of the board. We don't allow stupid threads to be made, mainly because it pushes better threads down, away from getting their deserved attention.

Making a stupid bet with random people who you've never met.

You expect people to honour it?

No I expected him not to honour it - BUT when he appeared on our board after the game against your lot I thought he was going to do the genuine, nice thing and pay his dues - yet he didn't - hence I agree totally with Bill writing this article targetting him. If he turns good on his word then I would expect bill to apologise but I certainly won't hold my breath!!

He could have made a post on Ebar, therefore could have called him out but not posted a thread about it.

I think Bill has every right to call out DT, he already sent him a PM, he hasnt replied so what good would sending another PM do?

as for lumping all toon fans in the same boat, that isnt on, but it does seem to be the norm these days with both sets of fans.

I posted these on Saturday (bit of banter if you ask me) they were swiftly removed and I was then unable to post (presumably banned) you talk about pathetic, bordering on juvenile
