@KieranMaguire Latest report states HMRC debt now 36Million up from 28M! Admin fees expected of 3.5 Million/ 4 Million. Also more than anticipated. MSD debt now 24 Million! This is looking gloomier for any proposed takeover. This CK chap is going to need very deep pockets. Wouldn’t wish this situation on any Football league club. BillyBlysPaperboy
Any prospective purchaser would only need to satisfy football debts 100%, non football debts/creditors would receive a percentage has proposed by the administrators. Still a gloomy picture, and unless settled in line with EFL demands then more points deductions on the horizon though believe that the preferred buyer has stated he can avoid that?
I can’t see HMRC excepting 25p/35p in the pound. That debt has increased by 8 Million any low amount to clear it could send a message to other league clubs that this was the acceptable figure for tax debt clearance. No Stadium so the PB will have to negotiate a lease deal with the previous owner. I can see this PB having second thoughts on the bid as the debt has increased significantly since his initial bid. So all done and dusted, just agreeing the sale, and getting approval for membership left, oh, and getting a ground. Mere details.
Judging by his 'belt' at their awards ceremony, I hope Rooney doesn't start trying to pull any strings. please log in to view this image
I have to say Lee looks good for his age . Riding a nicely balanced bike does wonders for the complexion .
The 'Mel' is Mel Morris who still owns the ground that they're hoping to play in, assuming they can meet the purchase agreement and approval for league membership, all before the deadline, which was pretty much yesterday.
