Who would we prefer to be playing next season? For me it is QPR and Orient. 2 nice and simple away trips to London. Haven't been to Orient since a 0.0 draw at the start of the 1970 season so would look forward to going back there. QPR is an unpleasant place where the locals hide behind walls on South Africa Road and lob bricks, bottles and fireworks at away fans as they leave the ground, and the local plod do nothing about it - other than arrest away fans!!! However, it is an old fashioned ground with the crowd close to the pitch and usually a good atmosphere. Also, QPR might be facing huge financial fair play problems which could restrict the quality of their playing squad next season (reported in the Daily Fail today http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...re-Championship-play-final-against-Derby.html). I'm also looking forward to away days at Brentford (never been there), Charlton and Bournemouth.
I've been to Derby twice with the City. Never been to QPR. Have been to Rotherham but not Orient so for those reason's I am the same as you Bfb
QPR for no other reason than I'd hate for them to be in the Prem. Rotherham or Orient ? Not too bothered either one for me.
Never liked QPR as a club ever since Rod Marsh and then Stan Bowles packed it in. Had the pleasure of watching both at Loftus when Chelsea weren't playing home in the early 70's. When Allison took Marshy to Man City, QPR carried on with Bowles - what a pair of players! Right now, I'd take Derby in the Championship next season rather than QPR - I think McClaren (if he's still there) will be found out again next year. For that reason I'd want QPR to go up. Of those coming up from League One, always liked Orient for some reason - West Ham's poorer near neighbours deserve another shot at the Champ for me.
I'm afraid you have got the MuttonBrains, and we the right Royal lot! Never mind judging by they're game today, they will be propping up the Premier League next season!.............
QPR will struggle again. However due to Hull being in Europa League and Burnley/Palace/Leicester likely to also struggle they may just about survive.
Cheers Millers Although Orient were my favourites having not been there since 1970 and I like London away days, Rotherham will be a completely new area for me, and a new ground!!! Looks impressive on the web site and has worked for you. What is the capacity and are away fans greeted warmly?
