£24k a week + bonusses (presumably he got a bonus if he didn't score an own goal).
Blimey, Wednesday fans are fearing total wipeout, or admin at best.
I presume that if such a Massive club as that collapsed, it would form a black hole?
Haven't. They just asked all their players to take/go on furlough?
So that would be a Super Massive Black Hole...
The players have refused, which is a good thing as the scheme was never intended to prop up failing football clubs.
Irrespective of who they are, or where they are, we should all have sympathy for their situation. It could easily, very easily have been us and lets just hope that any change in our ownership doesn't lead us into a similar situation. The league needs clubs like SWFC, not the top 6...
Further down one quotes the Wednesday owner who said earlier in the season "Brentford are a selling club, they have no ambition".
League 1 needs clubs like SWFC and League 2 as well with any luck
In 2010 when the Allams bought us?
As opposed to a massive ****hole.
Can you shed a bit more light on your theory?
We've obviously reached an event horizon. No escaping the gravity of the situation.
Any decent players?
We're talking FC Massive here Chazz. Shouldn't the question be: Any academy players who could do with a run in the Championship?
You shouldn't derive pleasure from the misfortunes of others. Unless it is the Fowls, the Blunts or TWS...
All in all it's a been a great year for football
Both sheffields and rotherham relegated, GY out the league, scunthorpe reached their correct level.
The vermin have enjoyed the traditional PL honeymoon - hopefully next season when the brown envelope fund is depleted gravity will kick in.
Seemingly they have 12 players left, including two keepers, one striker and three midfielders, so presumably six defenders, who clearly can't be up to much.
And to top it off a transfer embargo.
