Couldn't care less. No such thing as a traditional top club in my opinion. Look at the table when Mike Ashley took over. Most of them have been relegated from the PL and never came back. If Man United get relegated who cares apart from their fans? Why shouldn't SwindonTown be classed as a traditional to team? Leeds are just another team that I hope Newcastle beat
I dunno like Leeds have a good fan base. It's better than having ****ty clubs like Bournemouth in the league
And? They are a city of course they will have more fans. I used to go and watch Forest Green Rovers but they only have a few thousand fans so they might as well give up. What if you hadn't been born in Newcastle and born in Rochdale instead? You would still want them in the PL, no?
It's a bigger game vs Leeds a bigger ground and a bigger spectacle for the league.. Leeds fans suffered a great deal imagine that being us? Happy to see them back..
Oh Boo hoo. What about the Rochdale fans who have never had anything to cheer? Why not dissolve the football league and you choose 20 teams to play in one division. No relegations. Happiness for you.
On the contrary I'd rather more big games and sadly Leeds are a bigger club than half the current top flight...
We've had some belting matches, and we have shared some legends too. Speed Bowyer Batty and some lessor players like Peter Haddock
Yeah, I'd like to see them back. I was at a cup game a few years back and I think they brought 5k fans. That's what it's all about.
I’m of this opinion. Leeds are a big club and have been close to promotion for many a season. Never had any beef with their fans either just proper football supporters. Honestly if they promoted they will struggle just like the rest of us but sky sports will be all over it.
That's not "on the contrary". Just because they have a higher standing traditionally means nothing. So this 20 team league Arsenal? Chelsea? Leeds? Man Utd? Sheffield Wednesday? Newcastle? Sunderland? Liverpool? Man city? Tottenham? West Ham? Portsmouth? Aston Villa? Derby? Everton? Leicester? WBA? Southampton? Palace? Wolves? Norwich? Forest? Bristol city? Blackburn? QPR? Charlton? How many fans should they have? Is it just city fans that ćan be a big club? Tell me again your thoughts on what if your weren't from Newcastle but you were from Rochdale? Bull ****
