Dippers? Caoimhin is the Irish equivalent to the English name Kevin and it is pronounced ' Kwee-Veen'. In some parts of Ireland the pronunciation of Caoimhin is slightly different, with ' Kee-Vin ' sometimes heard. Just in case you were wondering.
Goal ratio this season = 1:1. Will cost a few £m. Chelsea after him. I reckon 10% chance of signing him. As for Brewster, wonderkid, could be heading for Leeds. Probably would get more games with NE which could mean Klopp would favour PNE loan.
With the January transfer window just over a week away from opening, some fans will already be wondering who Preston could sign. A winger may be needed over on the left flank with Andre Green’s loan likely to end, whilst it wouldn’t be a surprise to see North End go for a goalkeeper or full back either. Still, a striker should be the main priority. With Louis Moult out for the season and Seani Maguire playing on the left, North End are a striker short. David Nugent and Jayden Stockley have been featuring of late, but a striker with a little more mobility may be ideal for Alex Neil. please log in to view this image Ivan Toney of Peterborough. (Photo by Luke Walker/Getty Images) On Sunday, Alan Nixon claimed that Preston want Ivan Toney in January. North End would allegedly want to offer a player to Peterborough as part of a deal, in an attempt to bring the price down. Toney, 23, has hit 15 goals in 26 games for Peterborough this season, having smashed 23 goals last season. The Posh want big money for Toney, and it’s hard to see North End getting anywhere close to what they want. Toney would be ideal for North End though, possessing pace, athletic ability and great finishing, and it would be interesting to see just how high Preston go with a bid for the former Newcastle man. Now, Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony has taken to Twitter to play down the rumour, doubting it’s a deal that could ‘ever’ happen, before wishing North End luck in their attempts to win promotion. please log in to view this image Darragh MacAnthony ✔@DMAC102 No idea re truth but doubt thats one that would ever happen. Cheers pal. Good luck with promotion push. https://twitter.com/tom_coulston/status/1209056791574831105 … Tom Coulston@tom_coulston Replying to @DMAC102 Is there any truth in Preston after Toney ?
