Saturday evening Joe Brolly launched an all out attack on Tyrone's Sean Cavanagh for his rugby style tackle on a Monaghan player.

The pull down tackle in front of goal has always been part of the GAA, but only in recent years has it become a norm and managers are ready to accept a yellow or red card for doing it. Im not Joe Brolly's biggest fan, but i definately think he has a valid point and i hope that his comments will open up the debate on this practice of tackle.

Does anyone else agree or disagree ?:cheesy:

He does raise a valid point but the way he made it was way over the top and just more of his attention seeking, he is most likely loving that everyone is talking about him.

Great point made 12 months too late. The black card is a comin'.

Cavanagh is just unlucky he is the fall guy for it. I don't think Michael Shields picking the ball off the ground against the Dubs was any way less cynical. Worse, he got away with it. cavanagh gets the brunt because it looked horrible.
