I don't think Sadio Mane is going to leave this season. There is a new contract for him.

 

I know, and unless we sell Mane and/or Salah I can see that being the case under the circumstances, especially under these conditions, even with the new mega kit deal. All I'm saying is that he is as wrong as often as right - he didn't see Allison coming in 2018, not by a long shot.

He said in January that we would be spending big in the summer. Things have changed somewhat since then with every club being stretched financially so a lot will depend on how successful the return is. If the desire hasn't been tempered by the virus situation then they will find a way.

 

Humungous if, that is.

 

I really don't think it'll make that much difference to the big clubs. Gate receipts aren't the biggest income anymore, it's all about the TV money.

 

Clubs biggest outgoings are the wages which they are still paying for no returns. Next season will start without fans and we don't actually know when fans will be allowed back so the tv companies won't be dishing out huge sums to the PL. Will sky and bt want to broadcast games? Without tv money things are very uncertain for all clubs.

 

Majority of which is paid for with TV money that they'll probably still get. At the very least, they'll get the majority of it.

He would be fantastic with the chances we create, he is a real finisher in the Fowler mould. Today he just got into the right place at the right time and finished the job.

 

So after the expert on German football on BT says he can see Werner signing for us, but it could be late August or even September if transfer window extended. They go over to Owen Hargreaves and straight away he says " I could see Utd signing Werner", this after Werner says he wants to play under Klopp. Delusional or what!
