I see it as much that Klopp wants certain players and only them as that FSG are tight with the cash . Obviously FSG are a business & decisions are made on that basis but i see no sign that they haven't backed Klopp if he really wanted a player unless the finances / age scenario make no sense and i would guess Klopp accepting that rationale .
I believe FSG will back Klopp in whatever he wants but we do have a very low net spend which could be argued for that
nobody gets everyone they want . I , and presumably Klopp , would like better back up but i think it is in that area out transfers haven't fully worked .
He’s got all the attributes to go on and be a top player that lad imo. Needs game time though, maybe should go out on loan?
Could loan him to Everton, on tonight's performance you need someone like him in midfield who can carry a ball and run at a defence
With Lallana leaving at the end of the season and Milner getting less game time, I can see Jones getting quite a few minutes. He's been in the match day squads for some time now and I klopp doesnt like to loan players who he thinks are near or are good enough. Neck Williams similarly, but he has more competition and will probably only see time due to rotation
That midfield just isn’t good enough. Now we play with a 4 the loss of Gueye is even more apparent, his replacement has managed one game ffs. Also, if we’re going to play with a 4, we need genuine wingers - we’ve got one - Walcott, and he’s crocked.
BI only watched the first half, but both teams looked very ineffective. The goal was going well wide until it hit Keane. Pickford has looked a bit iffy from crosses as well. if Spurs score again I suspect it will be from a set piece
I can't see that happening now with Jones. He is ahead of all our promising youngsters in first team involvement and its obvious Klopp sees him as a first team regular for next season. He won't be starting too many but will be an option off the bench. Just signed a 5 year deal
