Was out for a meal the other evening, and talking to the waiter, he said that M Morgan is building a new house on the Gower coast somewhere (should have asked him where), but he also stated that Dyer's wife had been seen on the site numerous times? Anyone else now anything about this? Because if true then Dyer is never coming back.........
Morgan and dyers missus by all accounts are having a baby together I heard. Thought this was old news.
Old news? News to me, clearly then they are setting up home together, so we are never going to see Dyer back, very shameful way to end his career with us, really feel sorry for Nathan, hope he gets a break, at least he's with the best team this season, and at the right end of the table, disgraceful behaviour by Morgan and our board..........
Dyer wont be back unfortunately, I hope the Morgans can find a buyer and fcuk off as they look to have lost interest and have started new projects. They have made millions out of the swans and we need new blood now......they have all let us down this season one way or another, I feel very sorry for Dyer and i hope he will qualify for a champions medal should the foxes win the premiership.
I would love them out of the club too Dai, the family are a bunch of chav opportunists, we can do without their distraction, really upset the apple cart this season..........
I know a company who had supplied equipment down at fairwood, the lad I know very well had a beer with him and told me that they went against his advice on the equipment and spent an extra 10k on the gear when it wasn't needed. All the work being carried out by Martin Morgans company and guess what, they never went out to tender. Now that to me is a stitch up and they lot of them have some serious questions to answer.
Over a certin value should go out to tender for transparency, you don't have to use the other companies if you can justify why you chose said company. What's not right is that you have a director of the Swans awarding a contract to his own company. Now tell me your happy with that.
The story was told as we are their UK distributor, but as it was through a building company then the sales doesn't come through us only a commission. Plus I have seen the commission payment we get for the equipment as I'm the one that signs them off.
Are you saying what went on was illegal? If so this is not the place,in my opinion,to be commenting on it. Maybe discuss it with your superiors?
No nothing illegal, just the case I belive a conflict of interest on Morgan's company undertaking the building works, while he's a director of the Swans.
We don't expect our Directors to be angels and live like monks (tee hee) but this is all very sordid. Got to feel for Dyer.
Not 100% but anything over a million, is what they call and OJEU notice, that high value contracts should go out to tender. But this can be overcome if justification over awarding a contract was to a specialist company etc. But building works is not specialist. Anyway off topic now, Valley will tell us off. Pity we won't see Dyer in a Swans shirt again.
