Should get an update soon as he had his op today I believe. The one good thing is that this problem is treatable these days and the recovery rate is also good. Suspect this was caught early given the medicals they have and he is young and fitter than most. However, when all is said and done nobody wants to have to recover from it in the first place. Good luck to the lad.
Just been reading about match day comments by the Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson regard our Ryan Edwards and his diagnosis. Says although he doesn't know Ryan he has heard about his medical problems as have the team and they all wish him all the best in his recovery. I didn't know Ryan was a scouser himself but obviously they do. Anyway I thought that was a very nice touch by Liverpool and they should be applauded for their wishes and taking the time to mention it.
Very good of them....but how many scousers in Liverpool's team I wonder ???.....I know they speak a funny language up there but even I can tell that most of them don't speak scouse.
