Pakistan on way to beating NZ.
Bad news for us
Could've bad news form the Kiwis as they have England n dire need of a win followed by the Aussies so they could conceivably end up behind Aussies, India , England and Pakistan who have two soft games to finish.
South Africa well on top.
Sri Lanka 138-6.
Good for us if SA win
Come on Afghanistan, you can do it!!!!
Pakistan win Fuuuuuck
Big game today.
India are good, but so are we.
Looking forward to this one
Roy back for Vince and Moeem dropped. Good start!
India declined a review although replays showed it brushed Roy's glove.
Next ball, salt in wound-esque, blasted high over mid off for six (6)
338 to win for India who are 18-1after 6.
We should win this
Well we are on top but the Indians are dangerous, I hope Root's dropped dolly doesn't bite us on the bum
Rohit Sharma back in the hutch
..... and breathe!!!!
Just a thought, did India let us win?
First 10 overs for about 30 runs!!
Last 6 overs not interested in taking any risks and finished only 31 runs short with 5 wkts left.
Michael Vaughan suggested we could well meet them again in the semis
(if results go our way and we beat NZ first! ).
Maybe India would prefer that to facing Aus or NZ?
So are we now praying for rain for Wednesday? No result vs New Zealand is probably the easiest passage into the semi-finals available to us.
England now need three wins to win. If they turn up and if they pick the right side there is no reason why they can't achieve this.
Tough call on selection tomorrow as Durham is supposed to be spin friendly but if Moeem comes in who do you drop? Woakes has been great and a useful bat Plunkett did really well when he came in and Wood and Jofra could blow the top order away.
Personally I'd stick with the same XI but I wouldn't be shocked to see Moeem in for one of the quicks
England 98 without loss after 14.1 overs
1st wicket partnership of 123. These two are the real deal.
Shame about the rest of them this afternoon! We might not make 300 at this rate, from 194-2!
