i've backed the Russian win here, at around 7/5 on Betfair. I think they're value at odds against, and niether side will be playing for a draw given the nature of the tie.

Italy at 12/1 are value for the tournament imo. Can't understand why they're four times the price of Spain.

 

Yeah I had a bet on Italy, I got them before the Spain game at 18/1 I think which is brilliant.

 

Italy are four times the price because this Spain are proven tournament winners who have proved suited to knock out competition. This Italy team have to prove then can perform game in, game out.

 

Russia seem like a good bet to win the competition, they are outsiders but they are good, I wish I had a bet on them, and their top scorer may be the top scorer by the end of tournament.

 

Yeah, I was thinking Russia are quite an attractive bet for the tournament, but it's alarming the way Poland opened them up through the middle a couple of times in the first half there. Teams that win the Euros normally don't concede much.

 

Poland have played very well against Russia.

 

Germany are around 13/8 on Betfair to beat the Dutch. Quite a fair price, as it really must be the most likely outcome. Maybe have a saver on the draw at around 9/4.

 

I am not sure if to bet today, lost on England a bit, but won money on bets the day before, overall I am around level on money back to cover bets made and lost.

 

Lost a bit on Russia last night, but still ahead thanks to the draw between Greece and Poland, and Germany beating Portugal. Hoping the Germans can do the business again tonight, but it will be close.

 

Holland at half time and Germany at full time is 25/1 (willHill). Might be worth a fiver.

Germany at HT and Holland at FT is 28/1. Can't see it myself though.

Sorry mate, that's a pain in the arse. I lost £50 on England to win when I placed it just after Lescott's goal. I have ALWAYS hated Nasri.

Hehehe, me neither, but had a tenner on an accumulator (Poland Greece draw, Russia bt Czechs, Denmark bt Netherlands and Germany bt Portugal) on first four games and won a bunch. I, stupidly, felt confidant... never again.

For what it's worth I can see this being 3-1 Germany.

 

Holland are not going to win now, no chance, they started good, but are playing **** now. Germany are out classing them now.

 

Agreed. Looks like they might bring Van der Vaart on but I think you are right and the Hun (no offence) are looking dominant. Personally, I would have started with Van der Vaart and Huntelaar.

Good game though. I might be an Englishman but I admire the way the Germans play. It says something that Portugal and Germany have put us out of competitions but I was always supporting the krau... Germans in their last game.

Van Der Vaart and Huntelaar should have both started, I totally agree, they are top players, I can't believe they left them on the bench.
I think them 2 bets look good, German one better in my opinion.
