They were adamant that they were going to win this tournament.....sensible...........there is an arrogance about them that never goes away......don't mention the war.
I don't mention the war plym as I was born after it finished and it was a long time ago. I was adamant they were going to win it as well so they were'nt alone in that and along with a load of other people. Nothing wrong with a bit of arrogance which others may just call confidence. The Italians just shocked me and them no doubt as well.
That was why I wanted the Germans to get through to avoid just that. If Italy play the same way as the last match then it will be worth watching. I just think they will revert to type is all and 1 - 0 after extra time is about as near a result as you might get. Penalties however must be favourite.
