Is it heresy if I watch Scotland - Croatia tomorrow instead?

I anticipate our game to be absolute toilet quality as per in terms of entertainment and the result doesn't matter.

Both Scotland and Croatia need to win with a draw not being enough for either.

 

They used the wrong frame, when the ball had already left De Bruyne’s foot. A rare example of technical incompetence for this tournament.

Belgium looked a good side this evening. If Kane is worth 100 millón, Lukaku must be double that. Unlike England, Belgium have that bit of savvy, and I for oñe would not begrudge them if they won the tournament.

imho the "correct frame" does not exist. The moment to draw the red/green/blue lines is in between frames which obviously they cannot do.

With that in mind, as I've said many times before, they are able to give a perfect decision using imperfect data which is why calling such marginal decisions is BS.

edit: I suggest all VAR decisions are based on 2 frames rather than one. If the player is offside in both, then offside.

 

My opinion is similar, in that they need to use multiple frames. but i would flick between them to see what direction the players are moving in relative to each other and just use the frame before/after the ball is kicked depending on whether they are moving towards or away from eachother.
if the players are moving toward eachother then use the frame before, if they are moving away, then use the frame after. That way you always give any margin of error as advantage to the attacker.

So it wont always be the most accurate frame, but it will at least never call an onside attacker as offside, assuming the lines are right.

Or they could just bin the lines off and use the naked eye? Radical I know.

If you need to get the lines out it's not clear and obvious.
