been great for past couple seasons. similar with luis Alberto, was brilliant at lazio for could years
I think he should have been orange yeah but whatev, its all just opinion. I think you might well be right on saka. He's filled in at LWB for england so he MIGHT just be included but i might be him OR bellingham. I just feel southgate will overload with defenders for the 5 at the back.
how many did he score though? It just says spainard, not actually oh btw it was 14 goals. its still good mind.
Danny would have been given a lot of game time this season but yeah, don't blame him for wanting to play
He was totally anonymous in the games but the reality is he was sold off prior to klopp arriving and I am sure klopp could have got a song and dance out of him. Rodgers had no clue what to go do with him. The reality today is take vardy out of leicester and Rodgers is in 12th struggling. He's no clue what to do with maddison who should be at least mentioned in same breath as grealish. (Mount and foden for me are a class above either but maddison is at least as good as grealish)
He was still here when Klopp arrived. He got injured in Klopp's first training session. Injuries were always his issue. I'm glad things have worked out for him elsewhere.
Aspas? I'm sure he left for Seville on loan no? Then was sold in 2015 and klopp arrived that winter??
Yeah according to google aspas was sold the Seville who then sold him straight onto delta vigo in june 2015 and klopp only arrived in October. It was ings who got injured early on no? Also Joe gomez.
I see southgate is revising history now by saying he only dropped trent to protect him. In reality he actually said trent wasnt at the level he was and competition was intense as Walker James and trippier were better. This even extracted a "what a gobshite" type response from klopp who rarely comments on these things. Now it seems southgate is rocking in a corner in full on panic over his squad and is licking balls.
So Walker is going as a makeshift CB, means the three of James, TAA and Tripper all in for 1 RB place. Get a feeling TAA might be used as RW or CM at some point, probably the same for James
The way I see that squad I am thinking 343 formation is in southgate's mind here. 2 cms. 2 wing backs 2 supports of kane. 3 donkeys at the back. Mount, grealish, foden all WASTED best english talent could sit the whole thing out so southgate can have an extra cb
Name the international tournament where england picked half fit players. I'll start 1986 Robson. 2020 (21) maguire, henderson, rashford might as well add kane and sterling to that list. All 5 to start with the brilliant young players of mount foden and grealish sat on the bench watching the debacle. england ought to be focused on getting those players into the pitch not half fit old favourites.
