Decent team started but what followed was perhaps the most inept game since Sarri joined.
Hazard was at his scintillating worst, Barkley looked like he did all last season, RLC was like a headless chook, Pedro was aimless, Jorghino could have stayed at home, Giroud scored a great header, but was constantly ignored like a spare dick at a wedding, Emerson tried the patience of all watching , Christensen should never be allowed within 200mtrs of Cahill, who should not be allowed within 200 miles of our team, disasterous pairing, clueless defending that slows our pace to a crawl. Zappacosta ran hard but kept on swinging crosses into the nearest defender.
The goalkeeper with the unpronuncable name was upstaged by his posts, which 3 times made better saves than any of his.
Our opponents , maybe the standard of Altricham Stanley ( though maybe not) opened us up like a can of sardines at least 4 times and finished all their chances like Morata.
Watching that game was like drinking bad wine, bloody glad when it was finished.
Put that game in the bin, grab the points and move on.

Need to watch this Altricham Stanley team to see if they are as good as Accrington Stanley CP, but yeah I agree with the rest, you been too long in Oz dude.

It was awful but this is Europa league football unfortunately. The competition is utter dog ****e until about the quarters.

We're through now so hopefully more players rested for the last couple of ties.

That's about it, plus no injuries I could see. Let's hope that's the seasons shocker out of the way for all those players.

The Europa League escape is what happens when you finish in the top 4 or below 7th.
Hopefully we will achieve the former, this season.

So 4-0 winners and group winners confirmed last night. A fixture that you learn pretty much nothing from but nice to get back to winning ways at least.

Obviously CHO shone but Sarri already playing it down and he is clearly not going to get much game time in the foreseeable future.

Shame because raw exciting talent like him needs to be unleashed at some point. Ronaldo had similar qualities / problems when he first went to United and that turned out ok.

Oddly, we played Cescy and there was a party.....

Half watched the game and it was an easy game as we went a man up.

    Giroud scored 2 beauties.
They got in quite easily into our defensive line a few times
Cant argue with a goal and assist but cho is still so raw. Found himself in acres of space or 1 on 1 on a defender quite a few times but the end product wasnt there. Saying that i preferred him running at the defenders having a go than willians stop start whole defence is reset then do something.

Shame pedro is old. Those well timed runs and sick touches but lack of break neck speed meant he snatched at chances

    Fab with some great passes

Christensen showed again why he isnt great on the ball.

Giroud needs to start over morata. I hope sarri does the right thing

As your club advance in this competition, here is your chance to display Chelsea EU flags. It cannot be in the interest of any football fan whose team regularly play European competition to see the UK Brexit, And instead of the few hurling abuse at Raheem Sterling, take it out on our faggot politicians like Jacob Rees-Mogg and Boris Johnson. That would be a laugh at any football match.

Malmo last 32. Seems a pretty decent draw.

Thank God you didn´t get a team from Turkey, Greece, Italy, or the former Yugoslavia. The papers would still give your club grief if your fans were stabbed in flash points. Enjoy Malmo guys.

PS: The picturesque route would be a team from Portugal in the last 16, a German team in the last 8, a Swiss or Austrian team in the last 4, and Arsenal in the final.
