Called the ticket office at the KC today. For those travelling to Slovakia, it's 'All Ticket' so you need to buy your ticket in advance. You can buy over the phone. An agent for City will distribute the tickets at the stadium before the game.
can't take 3 days off and there's no way i'm getting on a flight and straight back it'd be ****ing horrendous
Someone must have seen my post earlier, they're all sold out to Zilina now You can still get to Vienna though, £116 return, train is only about €10 each way.
It'll be beyond disappointing if we don't fill the ground for our first ever European game at those prices.
All the Czech buses to both Prague and Zilina are sold out as well. Can still get flights from Heathrow to Vienna (just an hour on the train to Bratislava) for sub £200 (although not direct).
We won't sell out, but i think a few will try and make the journey because theres no guarantee we're going to progress as i imagine some fans are waiting until we get a 'bigger' team. I for one WOULD HAVE gone if it was a closer tie, and i don't have £400 to spend on one game. If it was somewhere closer to home e.g. Scotland, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Holland and so on i would have gone because prices there are reasonable. I never knew it was so pricey to travel to Slovakia! I WILL be attending the match at the KC though and hopefully if we make it through and draw a team closer i'll go there too.
Depends what you call core I guess. I think if you can't be arsed to go to a home cup tie against Brighton with the chance of a quarter final at stake, you're hardly a core supporter. How many did we get for that game? 12k? How many did we get in the Championship 15-18k? It certainly isn't anywhere near the capacity of the stadium.
i went to that brighton game but i paid on the gate in the south stand, wanted a different view for once and i asked on here if paid on gate was okay so my ticket thingy was never accessed but i'd say we're lucky if we have 15k core fans... im in e1 pass and that cardiff game in 2013, i had some random people i'd never seen all season next to me, felt like the nutting the ****,kept grabbing onto me, when i jumped up when we scored.. but my point is that was full capacity give or take.. yet the previous home game against bristol city.. if i remember it was about 18k?
Absolute diehards who wouldn't miss a game? 300-400. HARDCore fans? couple of thousand....5,000 at best. Basically see it this way, if we dropped down into League 2 and was struggling our attendances would be about 8k
