Romero, Williams, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, Mata, Fernandes, James, Iglaho.

Bit surprised to see Fernandes starting this one as United play Spurs on the weekend.

I have no doubt LASK will be far more formidable than any of the mickey mouse European clubs that have played this week.

Seems strange to go ahead, considering everyone now claiming the season will be stopped.

 

Yeh I very much doubt this will get to the final (with certain clubs already unable to travel) so the ones being played may well become pointless.

I think I heard Fernandes has been involved in more goals in the Europy than any other player with 10. If we'd converted our chances this half, he'd probably have another 5 assists to add to that.

 

@Skylarker seems to have disappeared since Liverpool's recent poor results, otherwise I'd ask him.

 

He was no doubt one of the Carrick brigade on the old 606 when Liverpool had the best player in Europe in every position yet won **** all.

I actually thought all games had been put on hold. I doubt that there will be any more games starting next week for a long while and may ultimately impact Euro 2020.

If we play this weekend, we need to win in case the season comes to an abrupt end and with City out of CL next year, we may be able to sneak in.

 

This would've been a cracking game if the fans were in. Would've been better for LASK and a closer match.

James has been good on the left, but Williams has suffered as a result on the right. Hope he's not played there in the league.
