I was thinking the same. I believe we had only 3 free kicks in the first half but couldn't remember them.
I had no expectations today; Everton are on a great run of results and we haven't won at Goodison Park since forever (over 60 years?), but we need 6 points from the next 2 home games or we're buggered. After that, if we win our home games against Watford and Sunderland, with the possibility of a result away to Palace, we might just stay up. We're at the point of no return. **** or bust.
I thought we played decent first half but story of the season , nobody to put it in the back of the net, clucas wasn't unlucky , it was a sitter and a terrible finish .... Fell apart second half , most of them looked like they couldn't control the ball , Tho I thought we got a lot worse after the sub and he changed the formation , terrible set pieces and grosicki confirmed my thoughts that Poland must be terrible if fans come flocking to see him , 2 home games massive and the red card could be more damaging then any of evertons goals
I'd stick him on the right and make him get to the bye line. Tell him he isn't allowed to cross till he has white on his boots.
A couple of games ago I was starting to think Silva was over-thinking things, now I'm sure. Playing with Abel on his own is like starting with ten men. First half was poor, second half was looking much better until the ref had a mental aberration. Losing Hudds was no excuse for the incredibly poor defending.
Well I'm having a few to drown my sorrows! Staying over and the wife just said she wants to shop tomorrow
Markovic missed 2 great chances in the first half too , he was put clean through , hesitated and then the defender got back in , it frustrates me , everybody else around me is going ohh good run , unlucky ... It isn't ****ing unlucky , this is the premier league and these are good key chances , and it's the reason we are , where we are, just not clinical enough when it matters , same way when we do put a cross we only have 2 men in the box and 4 lazy ****ers just watching on the edge of the box
Still can't see that as a red card and it did have an effect on the game , it's unlikely but we could have got a point Some important games ahead
No motd again, no Sunday paper, I'm having a few beers tonight must admit I expected a defeat but palace winning without a single shot really p------ me off, never mind hopefully by Monday I will start to pick up again, Swansea losing helped but we have got to get going again. The wife's sick of me moaning, there's more things to worry about Im going get another beer and a large pork pie out the fridge to cheer me up.
As a kid, I'd never eat them at Christmas (only real time they emerged in my house). I'd fear the jelly stuff that surrounded it. I stopped eating meat at about 18 years so never really had a period of eating them.
