I've been away with the lads for a week
None of them would dare to even suggest shopping!

But I'm flying back from snowboarding so can play a variation on a theme and play 'guess the injury' by assessing the various leg braces and arm slings dotted around. So far the woman in the wheelchair is way out in front! (and not just because she's being pushed!)[/QUOTE]

Think the patience is due to lack of options and the fact Elmo looks even lazier , id drop grosicki if we had more options , the Markovic at arsenal away looks twice the player he is to me , but need it more than once a season

Everton have been in the top flight since 1954 that's 62 straight seasons where they've averaged 9th position and won the league 4 times (last time in 86/ 87).

It makes you wonder why they have rarely made it into the top 4. Could it be that success increases expectation which in turn demands extra expenditure?

Read a comment on their forum last week of some guy lamenting their performance, saying that during his 30yo son's life they've only finished top 4 twice (think it was twice).

Meanwhile on foxestalk someone thinks they're the 7th most attractive club in terms of recruiting in the summer.

I'm taking my grandson today. He's five and it's his first ever match. He told me this morning that he was as excited as the whole wide world. So am I. That's why we do it. I'll take a point today though. Everton are strong at home at present.

It would be interesting to see how much they've spent on transfer fees compared to the top six over the last 30 years.

Head trumps heart so a narrow loss today as I cannot see us outscoring them.

Our next 3 games are against teams that we literally wasted 6 points against.

    Everton 2
    West Ham 3
    Boring Boro 1

What a difference those points would be making now...

Was in Manchester Airport this morning at 00.30 with cramp in my arsecheek from sitting next to a complete bellend from Whitby who insisted on hogging half of my seat for 4 hours. Home now ready for a very cheeky 2-niller to City.
