So... a difficult run of fixtures coming up for United beginning with a challenging away trip to a resurgent Everton. Chelsea dropped more points today, giving United the chance to close the gap to 1 point if we win. But Ancelotti is doing very well with this Everton side who are playing without fear at the moment. Looking at the fixtures - Everton (a) City (h) Spurs (a) Sheffield United (h) what would be a decent return? I would say 8 points minimum will be needed to put ourselves in a strong position for 4th. Tomorrow's line up I hope includes Bailly at centre back instead of Lindeloff. Fred & McTominay in midfield. And Perreira, Matic and Lingard nowhere near the squad for tomorrow. I have a feeling it will be a score draw (maybe even a 3-3) but thinking with my heart 1-3 to United.
de Gea - 7 errors leading to goals this season, not good enough. He's undoing all the defensive rebuilding.
7 is a high number for a goalie. I think we should bring back Henderson to at least compete for number one spot.
I would say Henderson come back next season as well. Means getting rid of Romero though. Or take the big decision of selling De Gea, which I personally don't support.
How the **** has Fernandes not been picked up by a big club that isn’t going through a shambles period? The guy is absolute class.
What we now need is another top regular no9. A club like United should not be at the mercy of one player to win matches. Another top creative midfielder like bruno wouldn't go amiss.
I only watched the first half yesterday due to work. I just want to say that is best attacking display I've seen from a United side in about 7 years. I really can't over-state that. If that is the sign of things to come, then fcking brilliant. I would happily take that performance every game, even if we lost the game or didn't end up finishing top 4 this season
