Lots of posts on other threads about the exploits of players we've loaned out, sold or released.
Thought it worth capturing any news on 'ex-players' in one place.

Starting off with Joe Days penalty save for the gas this evening.

(Hope this doesn't turn into a Madine love in.)
If we get a few posts, could you make it a sticky please Sparkey?

Madine not in Blackpool's 18 again.

    Injured or resting?

There's talk that Spurs are after Aaron Ramsey. Is Jose trying to be Welsh? I think Mick should get in first for him. <laugh>

Is that where MM got his idea for 3 at the back and 1 up front?

Josh Magennis scores for Hull. Winning 5.0 at Wigan.

Declan John scores again for Bolton in 3.2 win at Mansfield.

Conor McAleny scored twice in a 4.3 defeat for Oldam at Forest Green last night.

What is it with released full backs and goal scoring exploits?

Josh doing ok for an ex-keeper.

I see Maynard has joined Newport.
They could do with him sticking a few away. They struggled for a draw against 9 men yesterday.

I think he scored for them a couple of games ago.

    He played. Didn't score.

Pity injuries ruined his career with us. A genuinely good guy as well.

I did see the chap who plays on the left and on the right that makes Routledge not look very good has scored a few up in Scotland for Kilmarnock this season.

In fact, having checked the stats he's on 7 for the season.
Not bad for an old fella.

Always liked Burkie. A player guaranteed to get us out of our seats when marauding down the wing.

He was with us for 3 seasons only then wanted to go home to Scotland so went to Birmingham. <doh>

Craig Noone was an okay replacement but not the same. We haven't had a winger of the same quality since.

What's the matter with you Bluey - Zaha, Ameobi and Ravel Morrison were all "stars" with us out wide.............<laugh>

I think they were seeing "stars" in their time with us.

Thinking of other wingers, Hoilett has been okay but hasn't had the excitement factor, Murphy still trying, NML had the potential but inconsistent - like Direby, too much snow, Whyte, nope, and Ojo maybe although not necessarily an out and out winger.

Others fallen by the wayside, Burgerstall, waste of space although did okay back in Austria and who was the one only with us for a few months then we swapped for KWJ? Another failure.

    Googled him. Peter Odemwingie. <doh>
