An amazing image. I'm not sure what links Walter Tull to Ayr? Maybe, his brother who was adopted by a Glasgow family? Maybe he was stationed there at some point? Mrs B has family in Ayr and we've been there a few times and it's very nice but his will be the first black face that I've ever seen there.
Aha, it's not on his Wiki page. That's probably why he was signed by Rangers, it's pretty much nearby. Ayrshire's very nice, if you don't mind a bit of wind and rain...well, more than a bit.
Could argue that it is a tribute to Chas so that's why he's pictured, but surely the pictures are of the people attending.
