I'd say 12th-16th don't want to be a doom mongerer, just feels like we're on good form and we have plenty of scope for worse performances. will maybe fluctuate depending on incomings over next fortnight!!
A season without any fear (whatsoever) of relegation would suffice. Anything better than that would be a bonus. Going up via Wembley fkn marvelous .
Been promoted loads in my lifetime… but last season was by far my favourite! Agree consolidation would be fantastic.
Upper bottom half will do me. Staying up relatively comfortably may convince more next level players to come next season and maybe convince any existing loans becoming permanent.
Our lack of back up might be a hindrance this season so I reckon between 3rd and 10th. We’ve showed more than enough up to now to not have me worried about the bottom half. Alex Neil is gonna be here for a while in my opinion and he’ll take us up eventually.
top 6 i reckon. i want Alex here for the next ten seasons, the best manager outside the premier league.
Sticking with my prediction (7-12th). I think we have the potential to flirt with the play offs but more likely it'll be a comfortable and frankly boring mid table finish. We will have bad runs and good runs, I trust the manager more than I have anyone since Peter Reid. Be interested to see what the approach is to the Jan window if we are 5th for example. Does the "sustainable approach" go out the window if there is a sniff of promotion?
Probably depends on what help we might be able to get this next week, and possibly in January . As it stands we look competitive, and I'd say middle 8 somewhere, possibly near the top of that group. But we look a bit light behind the first 13 or so, though some of those we've seen as back ups so far might well improve. It is also a young team again, great by me, but which can always hit a down turn. If I was hoying money on I'd go bang in the middle, 10th, 11th or 12th. And I'd be okay with that.
Still think 7-12th is more than realistic. We’ve had 3 tough away games and picked up 6 points. Get our first win at home and we’ll be well and truly on our way Signings dependant of course.
We are pretty much where I expected us to be. The league is mental, very competitive and every week has at least a couple of random results. Apart from a couple of occasions im enjoying it so far, we play some good football in patches and being honest with the age of some of our players ups and downs are expected. Unlike what appears to be a growing band, I like Mowbray, he is very good at praising the younger players while pointing out what they need to improve on. I'm looking forward to the second half of the season
